Increases the (calcium) hardness of swimming pool water.

Water hardness that is too low (aggressive) can lead to lime extraction. This can cause problems, especially in tiled pools. Melpool Ca+ is a high-quality product and compatible with chlorine.

Dosing instructions (practical advice):

• Preferably maintain the calcium hardness of swimming pool water between 200 and 350 ppm (mg/l)
• This is equivalent to approx. 11 to 19 degrees German hardness (°dH)
• 144g of product increases the calcium hardness of 10 m³ of water by 10 ppm (mg/l) = 0.55 °dH
• Do not dose more than 750g per 10 m³ of water per treatment
• pH value should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.6
• During treatment, the pump should be running for 3 to 4 hours
• Perform a possible second treatment only 12 hours after the first treatment

Warning:

• Always read the label and product information before use
• Keep in a cool dark place, out of the reach of children
• Do not throw the granulate directly into the bath, but dissolve it in a bucket of cool water. Then distribute evenly over the water surface
• Never mix with other (swimming pool) chemicals, always add the product to water, never the other way around
• To avoid risk of skin and eye irritation, it is recommended to wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling this product

Tip:
Aggressive water (calcification) is also often caused by a too low pH value. So also pay close attention to the pH value!
